Aston Villa are boosted by the likely return of Darren Bent, James Collins, Emile Heskey and Jermaine Jenas.

Aston Villa have been handed some good news ahead of their Premier League clash with Wigan on Saturday, October 1.

Darren Bent, James Collins, Emile Heskey and Jermaine Jenas are likely to return from injury.

Striker Bent has recovered from a groin strain while defender Collins has overcome an ankle injury.

Heskey and Jenas have seen off hamstring and thigh problems respectively.
