Aston Villa midfielder Marvelous Nakamba has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Trabzonspor.
Since signing from Club Brugge last summer, Nakamba has made 23 starts and three substitute outings for the West Midlands outfit in all competitions.
However, with Villa currently fighting to remain in the Premier League, clubs are beginning to contemplate offers for their players should they suffer relegation to the Championship.
According to Sabah, Trabzonspor regard the Zimbabwe international as a possible replacement for John Obi Mikel, who has recently left the Turkish club.
As they fight for the top-flight title, Trabzonspor are considered to be an attractive option ahead of the next transfer window.
Nakamba's Villa teammate Trezeguet has also been linked with a switch to Senol Gunes Stadium.
