Swindon Town midfielder Massimo Luongo has emerged as a reported transfer target for FA Cup finalists Aston Villa.
The 22-year-old Australia international was voted Player of the Tournament at this year's Asia Cup, as well as being crowned the fourth-best player in League One this season.
It is suggested by the Daily Mail that Tim Sherwood wants to make the youngster his first Villa signing, having helped with the midfielder's development during his spell as development director at Tottenham Hotspur.
Sherwood, who is said to be close to Robins chairman Lee Power after their time together as players at Norwich City, sent Luongo on loan to the County Ground in 2013, before the switch was made into a permanent deal.
Swindon reportedly rejected a number of bids for their star asset during the January transfer window.
