Koke has claimed that Atletico Madrid must build on their 5-0 victory over Malmo in the Champions League as they look to secure their progress in the competition.
Last season's beaten finalists climbed to the top of Group A with the emphatic triumph, and Koke believes that they must continue to play with the same intensity in their final three fixtures.
"We have to go and win our remaining games to avoid relying on others. We have six points, we're at the top and that's what's important," the 22-year-old, who broke the deadlock early in the second half, told AS.
"We tried in the first half but they didn't give much space. We tried with a lot of crosses and we had bad luck when [Antoine] Griezmann hit the crossbar.
"We tried to score from close range, from distance, in the end we worked hard and I was lucky to score the first, and from there the goals came."
Atletico return to La Liga action against Getafe on Sunday night.
