Report: Jan Oblak to start for Atletico Madrid

A report claims that new goalkeeper Jan Oblak is in line to start Atletico Madrid's Champions League group opener against Olympiacos on Tuesday.

Jan Oblak is reportedly in line to start Atletico Madrid's Champions League group opener against Olympiacos in Greece on Tuesday.

The towering goalkeeper was signed from Benfica this summer, but has thus far had to play second fiddle to fellow new signing Miguel Moya, who has impressed in La Liga.

According to AS, however, Atletico boss Diego Simeone is considering handing a start to the young stopper for the European clash.

Atletico reached the final of the Champions League last season, but lost out to capital rivals Real Madrid during a pulsating final in Portugal.
