Atletico Madrid midfielder Tiago has dedicated his goal in last night's 2-1 win over Real Madrid to assistant coach Mono Burgos.
Burgos was the main man in the dugout for Atletico during the La Liga clash as he continues to deputise for the suspended Diego Simeone, who is serving a touchline ban.
"We worked on set-pieces and it went fantastically well," Tiago told AS.
"I want to dedicate it to Mono. I said I was going to score. It's a result of the work of everyone, the team, the substitutes, the staff, all of us.
"That's why we're a team, because we know we are all important. Anyone can decide the game."
Tiago opened the scoring at the Bernabeu with a first-half header.
