Diego Costa set for Atletico Madrid exit?

Diego Costa may reportedly leave Atletico Madrid in one of the next two transfer windows, having struggled for form on his return to the club.

Diego Costa may reportedly part ways with Atletico Madrid in one of the next two transfer windows.

Despite rejoining the Spanish giants for £57m at the start of 2018, Costa has contributed just 13 goals from 44 starts and five substitute outings in all competitions.

The 30-year-old also finds himself in and out of the team under Diego Simeone, who has recently made efforts to make sweeping changes to his squad at Wanda Metropolitano.

According to Calciomercato, the former Chelsea man may be allowed to leave the club, potentially in order to sign for a club in Qatar or China.

Should the Spain international be made available, a number of teams in the Premier League are likely to take an interest.

Costa still has just under two years remaining on his contract at Atletico.
