Spain left-back Jordi Alba has that he is planning to celebrate tonight after scoring his first senior international goal as his country were crowned Euro 2012 champions.
The 23-year-old, who recently agreed to join Barcelona in an £11m deal, added to David Silva's opener in the 41st minute before late goals from Fernando Torres and Juan Mata wrapped up an emphatic 4-0 win over Italy in tonight's final.
"It was my first final and we created history," said Alba. "I'm very happy. I can't believe it, it has to sink in.
"I've also signed for Barcelona and now I want to celebrate. I also scored - my friends told me I would."
Alba made his senior international debut last year and he has been capped 11 times.
