Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has hailed his side's character after a late goal earned them a 2-2 draw at Athletic Bilbao.
The former Gunners midfielder had drawn Barca level at San Mamés before Lionel Messi's last minute strike ensured a share of the spoils for the Catalan club.
"It was a typical San Mames match," Fabregas told AS. "Bilbao are a team that possess fantastic grit and effort.
"We showed great character and I am very happy. The important thing for me is to help the team."
The draw has seen Pep Guardiola's side slip to three points behind league leaders Real Madrid after their 7-1 win against Osasuna.
