Gerardo Martino: 'We don't deserve to win La Liga'

Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino says that his side 'do not deserve' to win La Liga this season following Saturday's 2-2 draw with Getafe.

Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino has said that his side 'do not deserve' to win La Liga this season.

Saturday's 2-2 draw with Getafe means that the Catalan outfit are three points behind leaders Atletico Madrid, who have a game in hand.

"We've already given everything we had to give in the league," he told AS.

"Obviously we wanted to have given more, but if we have been unable to win today (Saturday) then we didn't deserve to reach the final day with more options.

"We've had moments in the match to make a difference and not suffer more until the final moments, as we have. Our chances were minimal and our objective was to stretch them to the maximum."

Atletico travel to Levante this afternoon, before fellow title rivals Real Madrid host Valencia this evening.
