Pedro wants more starts at Barcelona

Barcelona forward Pedro admits that he wants to play more at the club following his hat-trick in the 4-0 win over Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.

Barcelona forward Pedro is eying more starts following his hat-trick against Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.

The Spain international scored three goals in their 4-0 win and admits that he wants to be involved in more games for Gerardo Martino's side.

"We all want to play, we all want to be in the line-up. I'm ready to play whenever the coach asks me to," Pedro told reporters.

"Scoring goals is good for the confidence. On a personal level, I'm happy. But, above all, I have to thank my teammates. We knew we couldn't slip up today.

"We know how difficult Rayo is; it's a hard place to come to. Maybe we're playing a more direct game with our high pressing, but I think we're also getting good results."

The victory maintained Barca's perfect start to their La Liga campaign.
