Luis Suarez will make his first appearance in a Barcelona shirt on Monday evening.
The Uruguayan international, who joined the Catalan outfit from Liverpool this summer, returned to training at the weekend after the Court of Arbitration for Sport revised his worldwide ban to allow the forward to train and take part in friendly games for his new side.
Barca boss Luis Enrique has now confirmed that the former Liverpool striker's long-awaited debut will occur on Monday, when the club face Club Leon in the Gamper Trophy.
"Luis Suarez will play some minutes in the Gamper tomorrow," he told reporters.
"During two training sessions he's already shown he is really talented. He looks like the player we were looking for."
Suarez will not be cleared to make his official Barcelona debut until October.
