Ousmane Dembele to return for El Clasico?

Ousmane Dembele is in line to make his Barcelona return in December's El Clasico against Real Madrid, according to a report.

Ousmane Dembele is reportedly in line to make his Barcelona return in December's El Clasico against Real Madrid.

The France international joined Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund during the summer - becoming the second-most expensive footballer of all time behind Neymar, who moved to Paris Saint-Germain.

The 20-year-old picked up a thigh injury in just his second La Liga appearance, however, and has been on the sidelines since.

Dembele had not been expected to return until 2018, but according to Marca, the youngster is ahead of schedule in his recovery, and could feature against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on December 22.

The report, however, adds that Barcelona will not rush Dembele back if he has not returned to full fitness.

Dembele managed one assist in his three appearances for Barcelona in the early stages of the campaign.
