Valencia goalkeeper Diego Alves has admitted that he would jump at the chance to join La Liga champions Barcelona.
The Catalan outfit are expected to lose first-choice keeper Victor Valdes next summer, with the 31-year-old seeking pastures new.
Alves, 26, is one of a number of goalkeepers who have been linked with a move to Camp Nou in recent months.
"Who wouldn't like to play for Barcelona? It's the team that are on top. I am sorry that Valdes is leaving, he is a big loss," he told reporters at a press conference.
"I see him as the goalkeeper who is in exceptional form; he is one of the best in the world at the moment.
"A move to Barcelona doesn't depend on me, there is always speculation mentioning my name, but nothing official. I'll keep doing my job at Valencia, with whom I have a contract until 2015."
Alves has seven Brazilian caps to his name.
