Barcelona vice-president Rafa Yuste is confident that the Catalan giants will "soon" be able to announce that Ansu Fati and Pedri have both signed new long-term deals at the club.
Fati - recently back from a long-term knee injury - only has a contract at Camp Nou until next June, although the La Liga giants can extend the agreement until the summer of 2024.
Pedri, meanwhile, is on a similar deal to Fati, but Barcelona are currently in discussions with the two teenagers over potential new contracts at the club.
When asked how discussions were progressing by Mundo Deportivo, Yuste said that the club were "moderately optimistic" of being able to sign the duo to fresh deals.
"With Pedri you can be moderately optimistic and with Ansu too. Hopefully we can announce the two renewals soon," said Yuste.
Fati, 18, has scored 14 times and registered five assists in 46 appearances for Barcelona, while Pedri, 18, has netted four times and contributed six assists in 56 outings for the club.
