Barcelona are eyeing a move for Juventus star Rodrigo Bentancur, according to a report.
The 22-year-old became a fixture in Massimiliano Allegri's Juve side over the last two years, but has seen his place come under threat with the summer arrivals of Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Uruguayan is available for £54.9m, although his previous club Boca Juniors will be due 50% of any fee that Juventus receive for him.
Bentancur made 40 appearances for the Italian champions last season, but was only named on the substitutes bench for Maurizio Sarri's first match in charge against Parma on Saturday.
Sarri instead opted for a midfield trio of Blaise Matuidi, Miralem Pjanic and Sami Khedira for their trip to the Stadio Ennio Tardini.
Barcelona have already strengthened their midfield this summer with the signing of Frenkie de Jong from Ajax.
