Sevilla's Clement Lenglet comments on Barcelona interest

French defender Clement Lenglet insists that he is "happy" at Sevilla amid reported interest from Barcelona.

Clement Lenglet has insisted that he is "happy" at Sevilla amid reported interest from Barcelona.

The 22-year-old joined Sevilla from Nancy in January, and has impressed during his time at the Estadio Ramon.

Barcelona have recently been credited with an interest in the ball-playing centre-back, but the Frenchman has said that he is currently "focused on La Liga and the Champions League" with Rojiblancos.

"[Barcelona] are a great team, but Sevilla are too and I am happy here," he told Sevilla's official YouTube channel.

"We will see what happens in the future, but I am focused on La Liga and the Champions League here. I feel adapted. I'm trying to speak Spanish, the city is incredible and I am happy with the minutes I'm getting and the games I am playing."

Lenglet has scored twice in 13 appearances for Sevilla during the 2017-18 campaign.
