Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar - an alleged target of Barcelona - is reportedly likely to remain at Parc des Princes this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly likely to keep hold of Neymar for at least another season.

Two years after moving to Parc des Princes for a world-record fee, Neymar is said to be keen on securing a reunion with Barcelona, who are also said to want to sign the Brazilian.

However, the finances of any deal remain a major stumbling block, with PSG unwilling to allow Neymar to leave the club for anything below the £200m they paid in 2017.

According to L'Equipe, negotiations have reached a stage where it is becoming increasingly likely that Barcelona will fail to hand Neymar a second spell in Spain.

The report adds that there has been no amendment of their opening offer of €40m (£35.76m) plus Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Rakitic, with the latter not currently interesting the Ligue 1 champions.

Neymar - who has linked up with PSG for their tour of Asia - still has three years left on his contract.
