Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar is reportedly prepared to return to Barcelona this summer, with the winger wishing for a deal to be completed between the two clubs.
The 31-year-old joined the Parisians from Camp Nou in August 2017 for a record-breaking transfer fee, and has since gone on to make over 170 appearances for the French outfit, scoring 118 goals.
Despite success in Ligue 1 for PSG and Neymar over the past six years, the club have been unable to achieve an elusive Champions League title - an inability which has sparked anger from supporters directed at the team's star players.
According to Sport, Neymar is keen on a return to Barcelona this summer after PSG informed the Brazilian that he can look for a new club in this transfer window.
However, the report adds that bringing Neymar back to Camp Nou is not one of the club's priorities this summer, and that a number of other outstanding positions would need to be filled before the winger was brought to Catalonia once more.
It is also understood that Barca could only agree a loan deal for the Brazilian due to the club's precarious financial situation, whilst PSG are said to be hoping to offload the player permanently.
