Report: Robert passes Barcelona medical

A report claims that Fluminense's Brazilian teenage attacker Robert underwent a medical at Barcelona's training complex on Monday morning.

Barcelona have moved one step closer to signing Fluminense attacker Robert after the Brazilian completed a medical on Monday morning, according to a report.

The 19-year-old, who has already been called up to the full Brazil national team, has been strongly linked with a move to Spain since the start of the season.

Earlier this month, it was claimed that Barcelona had come to an agreement with Fluminense which would see the teenager move to Camp Nou on a six-month loan, with the option to make the deal permanent next summer.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Robert was spotted at the club's training ground on Monday, where a medical is believed to have taken place.

Robert, who primarily operates in the number 10 position, is expected to initially join up with Barcelona B.
