Barcelona striker Luis Suarez hopes to convince the club to award him a new contract, according to a report.
The Uruguay international has scored 175 goals for the Catalan giants since arriving from Liverpool in 2014, making him their fifth-highest scorer ever.
Suarez scored another key goal last weekend as he opened the scoring in Barca's 2-0 win over closest challengers Atletico Madrid at the top of La Liga.
Spanish outlet Marca claims that, despite suggestions earlier in the season that Ernesto Valverde is seeking a replacement striker, the 32-year-old wants to stay for at least another campaign.
Antoine Griezmann and Marcus Rashford are rumoured to have been lined up as possible replacements for Suarez, whose current deal at Camp Nou runs until 2021.
