Conference Premier roundup: Barnet fall to Lincoln City defeat

Sports Mole rounds up Sunday's action in the Conference Premier as Barnet see their gap at the top reduced to six points after losing to Lincoln City.

Barnet have suffered a surprise 4-1 defeat against Lincoln City to see their lead at the top of the Conference Premier table reduced to six points.

Goals from Ben Tomlinson, Alan Power, Jon Nolan and Connor Robinson were enough to earn three points for the home side with Luke Gambin netting a late consolation for Martin Allen's outfit.

Strikes either side of half time from Matty Taylor and Nathan Blissett helped Bristol Rovers ease past Nuneaton Town, who remain seven points adrift of safety.

Forest Green Rovers have moved into the top five after two goals from Jon Parkin helped his side record a 4-1 victory over Welling United at The New Lawn.

Kidderminster Harriers sit one point behind as two goals in the final 11 minutes from Marvin Johnson helped his team overturn a deficit to defeat Dartford at Princes Park.

However, Eastleigh have fallen to eighth place after an own goal from Jack Midson and a late effort from Altrincham's Shaun Densmore condemned them to their first home league defeat of the season.

At the bottom of the table, AFC Telford United closed the gap on Nuneaton to four points as they came away from their trip to Aldershot Town with a 2-1 success.

Braintree Town have moved towards mid-table after two second-half goals from Jordan Cox helped The Iron come from behind to record a 3-2 victory at Chester FC.

A last-gasp goal from Andi Thanoj helped Alfreton Town move to within six points of safety with a 1-1 draw against Torquay United.
