David Flitcroft: 'Barnsley showed bravery to earn draw'

Barnsley manager David Flitcroft says that his team were brave during their 1-1 draw with Reading.

David Flitcroft has praised Barnsley for showing "bravery" during their 1-1 draw with Reading in the Championship this evening.

The Tykes had to come from behind with a Chris O'Grady goal to secure a point, after Hal Robson-Kanu had given the Royals the lead.

The manager told reporters: "The stadium was electric. [The fans] kept believing. The whole team was good. Mellis caused problems, Fox ticked us over.

"We showed bravery tonight. I'm disappointed we didn't get the win because I thought we deserved it."

Despite securing a point, Barnsley sit bottom of the table.
