Pep Guardiola "delighted" with second-half performance

Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola says that he is "delighted" with the performance of his team in their 4-1 home victory over Mainz 05.

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has said that he was "delighted" with the performance of his players after his side came from behind to beat Mainz 05 4-1 this afternoon.

The German and European champions trailed at half time to Shawn Parker's 44th-minute goal, but second-half strikes from Arjen Robben, Mario Mandzukic and a Thomas Muller brace ensured that Bayern sailed to a comfortable victory.

"I am delighted with the result", the Spaniard told a press conference after the game.

"I kept calm at half time. We did change the system a little and Arjen Robben played on the left."

The win saw Bayern leapfrog Bayer Leverkusen to go top of the Bundesliga table.
