Pep Guardiola: 'Mario Gotze not doing enough'

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola says that Mario Gotze, despite blazing trails in the goalscoring stakes so far, still has to produce more.

Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has revealed that he expects more from midfielder Mario Gotze, despite him leading the way for the Golden Boot in the Bundesliga.

Gotze has already struck six goals in seven outings so far this season as the German sits top of the goalscoring charts, yet Guardiola says that the 22-year-old has far more to give.

"I want more," he told reporters. "He has great quality, Bayern Munich want more from Mario. We've talked about it and I know that he is ready for it."

The Bavarians sit top of the German top flight with 20 points, four clear of Borussia Monchengladbach.
