Bert van Marwijk expects Bayern Munich backlash

Bert van Marwijk is concerned that his Hamburger SV side could face a backlash from a wounded Bayern Munich.

Hamburger SV coach Bert van Marwijk has admitted that he fears a Bayern Munich backlash when his side hosts the champions on Saturday afternoon.

Bayern were beaten 3-2 by Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday night and Van Marwijk does not think that one defeat will lead to another.

"I think they'll react in a professional manner," he told Bundesliga.com.

"They are one of the best teams - perhaps the best - in the world at the moment. They won't allow one defeat to knock them off their stride."

The game kicks off on Saturday at 2.30pm.
