Team News: Mario Mandzukic back in for Bayern Munich

Mario Mandzukic returns to the Bayern Munich XI for their trip to Werder Bremen.

Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic has returned to the starting lineup for their away clash against Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga.

The move means that Mario Gotze drops back into midfield, but Philipp Lahm has not won his fitness battle and will miss out again.

The hosts have again gone for two up top, with Nils Petersen and Franco di Santo leading the line, while Raphael Wolf keeps out Sebastian Mielitz in goal.

Werder: Wolf; Selassie, Lukimya, Caldirola, Garcia; Elia, Fritz, Makiadi, Hunt; Di Santo, Petersen

Bayern: Neuer; Rafinha, Boateng, Van Buyten, Alaba; Thiago; Muller, Gotze, Kroos, Ribery; Mandzukic
