Team News: Bastian Schweinsteiger only makes Bayern Munich bench

Bastian Schweinsteiger makes the bench for Bayern Munich for their home clash against Hannover.

Bayern Munich vice-captain Bastian Schweinsteiger has been passed fit for his side's clash with Hannover, but is only named on the substitutes' bench.

As expected, Javi Martinez's absence too means that Philipp Lahm is again picked in midfield alongside Toni Kroos. Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery start on either flank.

For Hannover, star striker Mame Biram Diouf was not fit to travel, so Didier Ya Konan is selected up top alongside Artur Sobiech.

Bayern: Neuer; Rafinha, Boateng, Van Buyten, Alaba; Lahm, Kroos; Muller, Robben, Ribery; Mandzukic

Hannover: Ziele; Sakai, Marcelo, Sane, Pocognoli; Stindl, Andreasen; Bittencourt, Prib; Ya Konan, Sobiech
