Carlo Ancelotti: 'No more transfer business'

Carlo Ancelotti insists that Bayern Munich are "well covered" in forward positions and will not sign any more new players this summer.

Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that his side do not need attacking reinforcements despite the sale of Mario Gotze to Borussia Dortmund and Arjen Robben's continued injury problems.

Gotze completed a return to his former club at the end of last week, while Robben will miss the start of the 2016-17 campaign after suffering a groin injury in Bayern's pre-season clash with Lippstadt on July 16.

Ancelotti, however, has said that the German champions are "well covered" in forward positions and will not enter the transfer market in a bid to improve their options in the final third.

"We are well covered in those positions. Even with Robben picking up a little injury, he'll be ready for the start of the season, so all positions are really well covered. We don't need another player, we are enough and we are competitive," he told ESPN.

Bayern will face AC Milan in the International Champions Cup in North America on July 28.
