Report: Bayern Munich eye Alejandro Pozuelo swoop

A report claims that Bayern Munich could move for Genk midfielder Alejandro Pozuelo in the January transfer window.

Bayern Munich are reportedly considering a January move for Genk midfielder Alejandro Pozuelo.

The 25-year-old began his professional career with Real Betis before joining Swansea City in 2013, spending one season in the Premier League before returning to Spain with Rayo Vallecano.

Pozuelo's best performances have come at Genk, however, with the Seville-born midfielder impressing since moving to the Belgian outfit in August 2015.

According to Laatste Nieuws, Bayern have sent scouts to monitor the Spaniard's performances in recent weeks as they prepare a possible bid at the start of 2017.

Pozuelo has made five Europa League appearances for Genk this season.
