Lee Clark: "It was madness"

Birmingham City boss Lee Clark admits that it was madness at the final whistle after his side scored a 90th-minute equaliser to survive in the Championship.

Birmingham City boss Lee Clark has admitted he was so overjoyed with his side's dramatic late equaliser against Bolton Wanderers that kept them in the Championship that he didn't know who scored.

Paul Caddis scored in the 90th minute to earn the Blues a point at the Reebok Stadium, which kept them in the division at the expense of Doncaster Rovers.

Clark was so overjoyed that he ran the length of the pitch into the visiting supporters to celebrate the unlikely achievement, as his side came from two goals down.

He told the club's official website: "I actually didn't know who had scored the equaliser. I just saw a yellow shirt go up and then it was madness."

Birmingham finished the season in 21st place, avoiding relegation on goal difference.
