Former Arsenal winger Quincy Owusu-Abeyie close to Blackpool move?

Former Arsenal winger Quincy Owusu-Abeyie, who is a free agent, reportedly holds talks over a move to troubled Championship side Blackpool.

Blackpool are reportedly close to completing the signing of Quincy Owusu-Abeyie.

The former Arsenal winger, who has been a free agent since his release by Greek side Panathinaikos, is thought to have held a series of discussions with officials from the Championship club.

Should the talks continue to be positive, the 28-year-old will sign a deal with the Seasiders, potentially until January, according to the Daily Mail.

The report added that former Liverpool, Leeds United and Sunderland attacker El Hadji Diouf has recently been training with Blackpool, although it is not yet known if he will be offered a contract.
