Serie B outfit Bologna have parted company with head coach Diego Lopez.
The club have taken the decision following a run of five points from the last five matches, which has all but ended the team's chances of gaining promotion.
"Lopez and his staff enjoy the club's most heartfelt gratitude for the work performed to this day, and our best wishes for a successful continuation to his career," read a statement on the club's official website.
Early speculation has suggested that former Lazio and Sampdoria boss Delio Rossi is in line to fill the vacancy.
