Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp: 'Victory over Bayern Munich meant to be'

Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp revels in his side's victory over Bayern Munich in the DFB-Pokal semi-finals.

Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has declared that his side's victory over arch-rivals Bayern Munich in the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal was "meant to be".

Dortmund won the match 2-0 on penalties following a 1-1 draw after extra time, and Klopp is adamant that his team deserve their place in the final.

"That was a hell of a game," he told Sky Sports News. "Both teams gave everything. Bayern was surely better in the first half, but we really deserved the equaliser in the second half.

"Today it was meant to be. Now we went through and that's it."

Dortmund will face either Arminia Bielefeld or Wolfsburg in the final.
