Callum Wilson hails "fantastic" comeback victory over Arsenal

Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson admits that his side's 2-1 win against Arsenal "is a massive lift", helping to move the Cherries four points clear of relegation danger.

Callum Wilson has urged his Bournemouth teammates to use their surprise 2-1 win against Arsenal as a platform to end any thoughts of Premier League relegation.

The Cherries recovered from a goal down in Sunday's lunchtime fixture at the Vitality Stadium through goals from Wilson and Jordon Ibe, earning a first-ever victory in this fixture.

After helping to ignite a famous win for his side, the 25-year-old admitted that it is now a case of pushing on following a rather underwhelming campaign to date.

"It's fantastic. We need to pick our home form and thankfully we have done that today," he told Sky Sports News.

"The fans were a bit flat so we needed to get them involved and a goal against a big team is always going to lift them. It's a massive lift, we need points against whoever are playing."

Bournemouth climb to 13th in the Premier League table, four points above the dropzone.
