Half-Time Report: Brighton & Hove Albion, Yeovil Town remain goalless

Brighton & Hove Albion remain on level terms with Yeovil Town following a goalless first half at the Amex Stadium.

Brighton & Hove Albion and Yeovil Town have headed into half time level following a goalless first half at the Amex Stadium in the Championship this evening.

The visitors came close to opening the scoring 18 minutes in when Sam Hoskins sent the ball in for Ruben Palazuelos, but the midfielder's shot from the edge of the box struck the bar, before Gordon Greer headed it clear.

The chance caused a response from Brighton as they came close just a couple of minutes later, but Luke Ayling was able to stop Jesse Lingard collecting from a Leonardo Ulloa cross.

Lingard tried to set up Andrea Orlandi later in the half, but the midfielder sliced his finish wide, before heading behind from close range two minutes later.

A mistake from Tomasz Kuszczak almost handed Yeovil the lead when he missed while trying to punch the ball away from the edge of the area, but Lewis Dunk was back to cover for his keeper.

Will Buckley came close to giving Brighton the lead just before the break, beating several Yeovil defenders as he burst into the box, but Marek Stech made the save to keep the Glovers level.
