Brighton & Hove Albion's Solly March 'out for season'

Chris Hughton reveals that Solly March will probably miss the rest of the season with a back injury.

Brighton & Hove Albion manager Chris Hughton has admitted that it is unlikely Solly March will play again this season.

The 20-year-old has only made 11 Championship appearances for the Seagulls this term because of a back injury.

He has been out of action since February and Hughton revealed that a return next season was the most likely outcome.

"Solly is making progress," Hughton told BBC Sussex. "If there is any participation this season then I think it's going to be minimal. Probably we are speaking about next season."

March signed a new contract a year ago that keeps him at the Amex until the end of the 2017-18 season.
