Burnley awaiting Ings injury news
Sean Dyche reveals that Burnley must wait for "another 48 hours" before learning the full extent of the hamstring injury suffered by striker Danny Ings.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche will be left to sweat on the fitness of Danny Ings for the next couple of days after the striker appeared to pull his hamstring in today's goalless draw against Crystal Palace.

The 22-year-old, who was the Clarets' top scorer in the Championship last season, left the field shortly before half time at Selhurst Park, holding the back of his leg.

"It's too early yet," Dyche is quoted as saying by the Lancashire Telegraph, when asked about the extent of the injury. "Obviously he's just snapped his leg down to get the ball under control and I think his hamstring has gone tight.

"We don't know how that is but the good thing is because it's a sore one he gets off straight away, which always helps prevent further damage. It will probably be another 48 hours until we know."

Burnley remain in the bottom three of the Premier League table following the stalemate.
