Sean Dyche not getting carried away with Burnley form

Sean Dyche insists that his Burnley side are not getting carried away by their sizzling start to the season.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has insisted that he and his players are not getting carried away with their sizzling early-season form.

The Clarets have won six of their last seven Championship matches and a win tonight at Doncaster Rovers would send them top of the table above QPR on goal difference.

Despite this, Dyche says that his players must "guard against complacency" in the "topsy-turvy" second tier.

He told the club website: "We are showing really good signs, but you don't over-think your league position and you guard against complacency by the nature of the division.

"Most of our players know this division and understand that it's topsy-turvy. Top can beat bottom, middle can beat whoever and I think personally it's the most challenging division for that.

"Anyone can beat anyone at any given time and you have to prepare for ever single game."

Dyche's strike partnership of Danny Ings and Sam Vokes have scored six goals apiece in the league and are the Championship's highest-scoring duo.
