Preview: Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Cardiff City

Sports Mole previews Tuesday night's encounter between Brighton and Cardiff in the Championship.

Brighton & Hove Albion will be looking to end their five-game winless run in the Championship on Tuesday night when they host Cardiff City.

The Seagulls are currently hovering above the relegation zone after taking just three points from a possible 15.

However, Sami Hyypia's side come into their meeting with Cardiff on the back of last weekend's credible 0-0 draw away to high-flying Nottingham Forest.

Cardiff made a return to winning ways on Saturday thanks to a 2-1 triumph at home to Sheffield Wednesday - a result that put an end to their run of five league games without a victory.

Despite their recent slump, a win at the Amex Stadium could see the managerless Bluebirds climb to within touching distance of the playoff places.

Sam Baldock remains a doubt for the hosts with a calf problem, while Kemy Agustien misses out due to an ankle injury. The suspended Inigo Calderon will also be absent. Ravel Morrison is expected to make his full debut for Cardiff following his loan move from West Ham United.
