Ronny Deila: 'We were poor against Dundee'

Celtic manager Ronny Deila questions aspects of his team's performance in the 2-1 win over Dundee.

Celtic manager Ronny Deila has criticised his team following the 2-1 win over Dundee at Celtic Park.

Goals from Anthony Stokes and John Guidetti extended Celtic's winning streak in the league to five games, but Deila was not happy with aspects of his side's performance.

"It was a poor performance, I expected more," Deila told reporters.

"Negatively, we didn't press together and weren't compact enough in the first half and we dropped too much into defence. Also we stayed too high on the wings and didn't run enough, so there was too much space for Charlie Mulgrew and Stefan Johansen to cover.

"What I will take from this game was the three points and the second goal was fantastic. We took three points but we have to learn from this and get up to another level on Thursday."

Celtic remain top of the Scottish Premiership on goal difference ahead of their Europa League clash with FC Red Bull Salzburg on Thursday.
