Cesc Fabregas: 'I need to win the Champions League'

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas reveals that he is determined to win the Champions League before his career comes to an end.

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has outlined his ambition to win the Champions League with the club.

The 27-year-old has yet to win the competition despite playing for Arsenal in the 2006 final in their defeat to Barcelona, while he also missed out in his three years with the Catalan club.

He told reporters: "It is important, the Champions League is the competition I still need to win.

"It would give me enormous satisfaction. We have a great team. I do not know if it will happen this year, next year or in the next five years. That is football."

Chelsea face Maribor in their next Champions League match on Wednesday.
