Fabio Quagliarella is overjoyed with his performance for Juventus against Chelsea and Chievo this week.

Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella was delighted with his performance for the Italian champions this week.

The 29-year-old scored both the goals in the Bianconeri's 2-0 victory over Chievo at home in Serie A on Saturday.

It followed Quagliarella's equaliser against Chelsea in Juve's 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League on Wednesday.

"This really is one of the greatest weeks in my life," he told Sky Sport Italia. "It was really pleasing to have received a standing ovation from the fans.

"Today I wanted to prove I was ready and I accomplished just that. I did my duty."

Juventus are currently at the top of the Serie A table with 12 points from four matches.
