Chelsea's David Luiz urges caution ahead of the team's Europa League semi-final second leg against Basel.

Chelsea's David Luiz has urged his teammates not to get carried away following their 2-1 win over Basel in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final.

The Brazilian netted a stoppage-time winner for the Blues in Switzerland, but is anticipating a tough return leg at Stamford Bridge.

"Scoring two goals here against a very good team and with the last kick of the match is amazing for us, but we have to keep our minds strong for the second leg because that is another difficult game for us," he told ITV Sport.

"I want to go to the final. It is not finished yet, we need to play the second leg and it is important for us. I want a title for my career and for Chelsea as well."

Basel's goal came courtesy of a contentious penalty from Fabian Schar, but Luiz refused to criticise the referee's decision as he did not see the incident.

"I didn't see the penalty. I cannot say it is not because the referee gave it. A draw would have been okay but to win is better," he added.

Chelsea led for much of the first half through Victor Moses's early strike.
