Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech believes that Fernando Torres is getting back to his best following the striker's performance against Stoke City at the weekend.
The £50m signing from Liverpool failed to find the net during the 0-0 draw at the Britannia Stadium, but his display drew plaudits from many match reports.
Cech revealed that the Spaniard has benefited from having a pre-season campaign with the Blues.
"It has made a huge difference that he had a pre-season with us," said the keeper.
"Sometimes when you come for such a huge amount of money to a different team and city everything changes and there is a lot of pressure.
"Now he has got to know the players and the way that we play. He was brilliant against Stoke and he deserved to get a goal."
Torres has scored just one competitive goal since his January arrival.
