Wigan striker Franco Di Santo has warned Chelsea that he is out to stop their revival when the two sides meet on Saturday evening.
Di Santo began his English career at Stamford Bridge and has admitted that he is looking forward to facing his former club.
"It's always exciting to come up against them. Didier and myself keep in touch – we talk often about football and life," said Di Santo.
"I think everyone can see he is the best striker in the Premier League. But it's no problem for us. We're in a good moment now."
Wigan have taken seven points from the last 12 available and victory could move them out of the bottom three.
