Trevor Francis: John Terry "looks like an old man"

BT Sport pundit Trevor Francis says that John Terry's "legs have gone" after Chelsea's 3-1 defeat to Liverpool on Saturday.

John Terry is no longer fit enough to play Premier League football, Trevor Francis has claimed in the wake of Chelsea's loss to Liverpool on Saturday.

The Reds scored twice in the final 16 minutes to complete a comeback and record a 3-1 victory over Jose Mourinho's side at Stamford Bridge, a game in which Terry played the full 90 minutes.

The Blues captain was dropped by Mourinho earlier this season before being restored to the side, and Francis believes that the former England skipper's time in the Premier League may be coming to an end.

"He has been a fantastic servant for the club, but when you look at him now his legs have gone now. He looks like an old man," Francis told BT Sport.

Terry has played nearly 700 times for Chelsea since his debut in 1998, but has recently been linked with a move to join his former Blues teammate Gianfranco Zola's Al Arabi side in Qatar.
