Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink "worried" about Radamel Falcao

Chelsea interim boss Guus Hiddink admits that he feels "worried" about loan flop Radamel Falcao.

Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink has admitted that he is "worried" about Radamel Falcao's "situation".

The Colombian international has been linked with an abrupt Chelsea exit, despite the club initially agreeing to sign the striker on loan from AS Monaco for the entire season.

The 29-year-old, who has scored just one goal in 11 appearances amid numerous injury problems, recently returned to Monaco to have his thigh strain assessed.

In Friday's press conference, Hiddink told reporters: "I'm still a bit worried about Falcao's situation. When I came in he was injured and then he started training again but he got a setback.

"I said give him the time and the rest to recover well and we'll see what will happen. So he's a little bit out of sight for the 18-man or 23-man squad."

Falcao also failed in last season's loan spell at Manchester United.
