Frank Lampard is likely to be on the bench again for Chelsea's clash with Manchester City on Monday night.

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard is likely to miss out on a starting place again for his side's match against Manchester City on Monday night.

The 33-year-old has been on the bench for the Blues' last two games after he was taken off against Newcastle United last weekend.

His absence from the starting lineup is an indication that his Chelsea career is coming to an end, according to The Mirror.

The England international moved to Stamford Bridge from West Ham United in 2001.
