Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has hailed the "amazing" performance of Didier Drogba in this afternoon's slender 1-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers.
The Blues left it late to overcome their West-London rivals at Loftus Road, requiring a Cesc Fabregas goal three minutes from time to secure maximum points.
Drogba was brought back into the starting lineup in place of Loic Remy, and Mourinho was quick to praise the Ivorian's impact during his time on the pitch, alongside that of another experienced pro in John Terry.
"Didier was amazing. Ninety minutes is too much for someone not playing a lot and it's difficult for a player to have 90 minutes in his legs but he had 90 minutes in his brain," the Portuguese is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"He is a fantastic example for us when we needed a big personality to step up. As John did, very safe, very calm and controlled."
Chelsea now find themselves seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table, with a game in hand still to play on closest challengers Arsenal.
